Bodacious Bangles: Fabulous Radiant Rain Bracelets    Materials: DreamingInColor Inc Radiant Rain Pure Color Concentrate -assortment of colors. We used Yellow Rose, Mediterranean Blue, Pink Azalea and Sunburst DIY Wooden Bangles Favorite stamps Stazon Black Ink pad ½ inch wide paint brush Alcohol permanent ink black pen Heat Gun High Gloss Clear Coat Spray Enviro-Tech epoxy finish (optional) Paper placemats Paper towels Water Wooden dowels suspended for drying Bangles Heat gun Paint brush-throw away for epoxy   Step 1 Shake all daubers thoroughly. Take off Dauber top of Sunburst. Stir bottom of container to mix mica and color thoroughly.  Step 2 Using a paint brush, dip into container and paint the interior surface of Bracelet.  Step 3 Lay placemats down and put bracelet in front of you. Ink Stamp with Stazon Ink. Stamp has to be laying flat and rubber side up.  Step 4 Roll bracelet across ink up image. Re-ink and line up with section of bangle that is not stamped. Continue to roll until Bangle is covered. Heat set with heat gun.  Step 5 Take brush and paint the Sunburst over the dried stamped images.  Step 6 Take top off of Yellow Rose. Put paint on brush, dabbing until brush is fairly dry on a paper towel, paint onto bracelet until ½ of the bracelet is blended.  Step 7 Take Dauber top off of Mediterranean Blue. Dab some of the paint off as above. Then, feather the Blue into the yellow/orange until the bracelet is blended. The Blue will blend until green in color.  Step 8 Take Dauber top off of Pink Azalea. Dab paint brush as above. Feather paint into the other colors.  Step 9 Set bangle with heat gun.  Step 10 Take the black pen and finish the edges.  Step 11 Spray bracelet with High Gloss Clear Coat 2-3 times waiting for each coat to dry before applying next coat.  Step 12 Optional Seal with Enviro-Tech epoxy sealant. Follow instructions, mixing 2 TBSP of mixture. Apply with a throw away brush. Allow to 'hang' from dowels, and dry completely for 72 hours. This gives a glossier, stronger finish to the bangle. |
